Neon has been showing up in the worlds of fashion and scrapbooking. And while I was there as a teenager for the first go round of neon in the 80s, I am loving the come back of neon even though I am now in my 40s and technically much too old for neon. I don't wear it - although a few of my weekend t-shirts and shoes have touches of it. I do scrapbook with it. And I still just love it.
I did this page for Get It Scrapped's Article: Scrapbooking Inspired by Fashion.:
And just yesterday, I did another neon page:
The paper is from Basic Grey and its not actually neon but its pretty darned close. Plus I used a very bright lime green colored pencil on black paper for the journaling and I even got out my 10 year old Jelly Rolls Pen and it still worked for the fake stitching (my machine is on the fritz). The Heidi Swapp sequin heart isn't actually neon but it is really bright. The letter stickers are from American Crafts Thickers and Making Memories.
