Do you and your spouse speak different love languages like mine and I do? I haven't read the book The 5 Love Languages: The Secret to Love That Lasts but it is on my list. After 18 years of communicating with my sweetie, we are still prone to having arguments over the way that we communicate. So I decided to create a scrapbook page about our mis-communication and struggle to understand each other:
I used vellum with a cloud motif over "our story" "happy" "home sweet home" and "please and thank you" scrapbook cut out embellishments. I also liked the chevron running through the page to signify static. And the Jillibean Soup "Can you hear me now" and phone related embellishments were spot on for this page. I added "Not Quite" to the "One of the Best Days Ever" stickers which I think is from the Kate collection from My Mind's Eye.
This was a fun page to make since I made it in the thick of our silly disagreement and the page actually helped us to talk about it and make up. I did write out our disagreement and put it on the back of the page, and if you are super curious and nosy like I am, you'll want to know what it was about right? Well, here it is in all of its mundane glory:
I actually taped it with some cute washi tape on the back of the layout.
