I am on a bit of a mission here. I'd like to grow Bruce C. Rosenberg's Facebook Event to 10,000 "going" before Wednesday, March 21, 2012. We are at 1,421 "going" right now. There are 9,778 invited, so I think this goal is completely attainable. I think people are hitting "maybe" or "decline" because it just seems like more Facebook spam or because they are lactose intolerant or that they have something else to do that morning. I think it is because they don't understand what this is all about. So if you want to know what "Ice Cream for Breakfast Day" IS ABOUT, please click on the link below to read about Bruce C. Rosenberg, the Jewish King of Christmas Lights, the man who created the worldwide holiday Ice Cream for Breakfast Day.
These photos are from Friday Night. I took my 8 year old daughter to Eckerd College, where twenty years ago, I met Julie and Bruce Rosenberg. Ally and I plastered "Ice Cream for Breakfast" flyers all over the campus including on Julie's old #22 door in Knox House, the student government offices which were open, the campus radio station, and every bulletin board we could find. We were even chased down by two racoons, but we didn't give up, we kept on going until we posted all of the flyers. So here's my internet plea, please keep this going - invite your Facebook Friends - we have a few days before March 21st - please help me get the word out to everyone that MARCH 21st is ICE CREAM FOR BREAKFAST DAY. Thank you & here is what is IS ABOUT: (click on these links)
